Around this time of year, we normally cross the Atlantic together and start the autumn season side by side in Canada. 🏔️
But this year, the beginning of the season will be a little different. We feel incredibly privileged to have such wonderful clients and to be so busy with our little company, which means that this time, we’ll be starting the season away from each other and on opposite sides of the world.
We flipped a coin – and today, it’s Trine’s turn to fly to Canada, where she’ll be guiding our first mountain goat hunter of the season.
Rikke will be starting the season in Sweden, where she’ll be guiding a good client and hunter who has travelled all the way from the United States.
Luckily, it will only be a few weeks before we’re reunited in Canada, where we’ll both continue the season guiding for both mountain goat and moose. 🫎🐑
It will feel a little strange to send Trine off on her own. For once, we might actually miss each other… just a little.

1TP5Hunting Season
Our buffalo season is done for now, and we spent our last day in South Africa hunting guinea fowls and francolins before heading home to Denmark tomorrow. 🪽
Now it's time to enjoy a few weeks with family and friends before our hunting season with clients starts again in mid-August.

Rikke & Trine
Caught a little moment between our client and his 8-year-old daughter.
It`s not always about the hunt itself—sometimes it`s about the moments shared. These two are enjoying moments in South Africa.
This morning our client shot an old buffalo bull.
Pernille got her very first animal with us, and it was a real pleasure to be part of that experience. ♥️ After eating old buffalo bull for almost a week, it was nice to enjoy some tender impala meat for a change.
We skinned the impala so she could take it home as a lasting memento, and took the meat up to the mountain where we cooked it and enjoyed it with a great view.

BUFFALO HUNT
We've been eating buffalo almost every day out here in the bush. We gave it our best shot – buffalo steaks, buffalo nuggets, buffalo sticks, buffalo in lemon juice, and even a traditional South African potjie.
To be fair, an old buffalo bull isn't exactly the finest meat in the world… but we do think that a big part of the adventure is to eat what we shoot.
We've had a great hunt with lots of good memories, and plenty of buffalo on the menu. Now it's time to welcome the next family for another buffalo adventure. 💯
BUFFALO HUNT
Shot a 10+ year old dagga boy with our Danish client and his family. A beautiful old bull, but we have to admit... the meat is tough...
Buffalo steaks, a beautiful sunset, and our little camp up on the mountain in the thick South African bush. We're all good. 🪶
Jacob came to Canada to hunt black bear with us and was fortunate enough to take this big old boar with Rikke.
A successful hunt and a lot of great memories to bring home.
