HUNT & HIKE
Terms and conditions
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL SERVICES
These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Hunt & Hike ApS (hereinafter Hunt & Hike) and you who purchase a single service, which is defined as a duration of less than 24 hours without overnight stay.
1 CONCLUSION OF THE AGREEMENT
1.1 THE AGREEMENT
The agreement is binding when you have accepted the offer of the content and price of the service in writing and accepted these and/or other stated terms and conditions for the service. Payment of the full price of the journey is also considered acceptance of the offer.
1.2 PERFORMANCE DOCUMENTS
Hunt & Hike will send relevant documents (such as a travel voucher, order confirmation, invoice and/or itinerary) without undue delay after the conclusion of the agreement.
Documents and other correspondence between you and Hunt & Hike, including - but not limited to - changes to the experience, will be sent to the postal address or e-mail address that you have used in connection with the conclusion of the agreement.
If you do not receive the documents within 5 working days of the agreement, you must contact Hunt & Hike immediately. If you have provided an email address, please check the spam filter beforehand.
You are also obliged to provide the contact details necessary for Hunt & Hike to contact you both before and during the service. Upon receipt, you are obliged to review the submitted documents and any "practical information" (see section 5.3.). You must immediately respond to Hunt & Hike if the information is not in accordance with what has been agreed.
2 PRICE AND PAYMENT
2.1 PRICE
The total price of the service is stated on your invoice, which means that, unless otherwise stated, the invoice includes all mandatory taxes, duties and all additional fees, costs and any surcharges related to the services you have purchased from Hunt & Hike. If there are changes in the specific service or in the prerequisites for it as a result of your circumstances, the price may change and additional payment may be charged.
At the destinations, local fees, entrance fees and taxes may be charged that it is not possible to collect at the time of the agreement, as these payments are directly related to local regulations or to the consumption of extra services beyond what is stated in the agreement.
2.2 PAYMENT
If you breach your part of the agreement with regard to payment, Hunt & Hike has the right to cancel the agreement. In such cases, Hunt & Hike is entitled to payment of the amount that you would have lost according to the rules in section 7.2. if you chose to cancel the service on the day of the non-payment.
2.3 DEPOSIT
Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, a deposit of at least 50 % of the total price of the experience is payable in connection with acceptance of the offer. Some experiences may require a higher deposit, which will be stated on the invoice. If the agreement is entered into less than 65 days before the experience takes place, the full price of the experience is payable upon acceptance of the offer.
2.4 FINAL PAYMENT
The balance for the experience must be paid no later than 65 days before the experience takes place, unless otherwise stated on the invoice. Note: According to the Danish Money Laundering Act, Hunt & Hike is not allowed to accept cash amounts exceeding DKK 19,999. If the price of the experience exceeds this amount, it is possible to pay DKK 19,999 in cash and the rest by bank transfer or credit card. Gift vouchers purchased in cash are equivalent to a cash payment.
3 CONNECTING JOURNEYS
Hunt & Hike is only liable for a connecting journey if this is marketed/purchased together with the main event as part of the service. A connecting journey means transporting you from/to the place where the experience begins and ends respectively.
4 CANCELLATION AND TRAVEL INSURANCE
Hunt & Hike recommends that you take out cancellation insurance to cover your expenses if you have to cancel the agreement due to acute illness or injury to yourself or a close family member. Cancellation insurance must always be taken out at the time the contract is signed and covers you until the time of departure. Cancellation insurance and/or annual travel insurance is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for the cancellation of the experience. If you fail to take out cancellation insurance - or if the experience is cancelled for reasons not covered by the insurance, Hunt & Hike's cancellation terms apply, see section 7.2. Please note that you may already be covered by travel or cancellation insurance via your home insurance company, credit card or similar. However, please note that there may be differences in insurance coverage.
Hunt & Hike provides information about the possibility or obligation to take out travel insurance. Without travel insurance, you are responsible for your own costs during the trip in case of accident, illness, hospitalisation, repatriation, etc. If you have a chronic or known medical condition, you should apply for a pre-assessment from the insurance company to be guaranteed coverage during the experience.
Hunt & Hike is not included in the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority's public register of companies, as we do not provide insurance products.
5 GENERAL DUTIES OF THE BUYER
5.1 PASSPORT, VISA AND HEALTH FORMALITIES (INCLUDING VACCINATIONS)
You must be in possession of and bring a valid passport and the necessary documents, such as visas and proof of required vaccinations, with you when travelling outside Denmark's borders. Even though Denmark is part of the Schengen cooperation, all travellers must always carry a valid passport. For the passport to be valid, all pages must be clear and the passport must have room for new stamps. You must have a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months at the end of your trip.
Hunt & Hike will inform you of the entry requirements necessary for the trip (e.g. passport, visa and vaccination requirements). We can only inform you of the requirements that apply at the time the contract is concluded. You should be aware that different entry requirements may apply at the time of your departure than what was applicable when you purchased the experience. For visas, you should also be aware that the processing time for visa applications varies from country to country and you are encouraged to always apply for a visa well in advance of your departure. It is your own responsibility to ensure that your passport complies with applicable regulations.
Please note that the passport must be in good condition before travelling. The passport must not be damaged by water, tears, torn surfaces from luggage tags, etc. There must also be no missing pages and no writing or corrections in the passport. In some cases, you may be refused entry by the authorities at the destination if they deem the passport is not in good condition, and the entire trip is basically lost. Hunt & Hike's information on passport and visa requirements is based on the rules for Danish citizens. If you do not have a Danish passport or have dual citizenship, you must inform Hunt & Hike of this so that you can receive correct advice and guidance, including referral to the relevant authorities. In this context, see www.um.dk and www.ssi.dk.
Hunt & Hike will also provide information about any health formalities such as vaccination requirements or similar, as well as other documents and conditions that are necessary for the realisation of the experience. For certain countries, special rules apply for entry and exit. Hunt & Hike cannot be held liable if, after the conclusion of the agreement, special disease-related entry requirements are introduced before or during the experience or restrictions at the destination (e.g. distance requirements, face masks, etc. but not limited to this). In these cases, you are not entitled to compensation, to cancel the purchase or to cancel free of charge. If you do not wish to complete the experience in such situations, the general cancellation terms, see section 7.2, will apply. You can contact Hunt & Hike for further information about these rules. If you bring medication containing euphoriant substances, you are responsible for documenting the need for this. Please contact your own doctor for documentation.
Find more information at https://um.dk/rejse-og-ophold/foer-rejsen/medicin-og-vaccination
You are also welcome to contact Hunt & Hike for further information about these rules.
5.2 PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Hunt & Hike's experiences are generally based on the assumption that you are self-reliant or accompanied by a helper if required. This means that you are able to walk normally, get in and out of transport without difficulty, carry your own luggage and manage stairs.
It is therefore important that you provide Hunt & Hike with all necessary and relevant information about your special needs that may affect the suitability of the experience for you prior to booking your experience. This could be, for example, medical conditions, pregnancy, visual impairment or if you have walking difficulties, are in a wheelchair or otherwise have reduced mobility. It is a prerequisite that you inform us of such needs so that we can advise you further about your experience and whether all or part of it will be suitable for you, including whether you will get the full benefit of the trip. For group excursions with others, please understand that the rest of the group cannot be delayed, and you must therefore accept that you will have to forego certain experiences.
If you are bringing a walker or wheelchair, this must be agreed in advance when booking the experience.
5.3 NAMES ON TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
You are responsible for ensuring that the names appearing on your bookings are identical to the name of the participant. If the discrepancy is due to your circumstances, the costs associated with this shall be borne by you. If changes are not possible, you cannot hold Hunt & Hike responsible for this.
5.4 TIMELY ATTENDANCE
In cases where you cannot arrive on time for the booked experience, you must contact us and inform us of the late arrival. If you fail to contact Hunt & Hike, your experience will be cancelled and you will not be able to use the reservation or receive a refund.
5.5 RULES OF ORDER
You must abide by the rules of behaviour that apply to all subcontractors or partners of the experience, such as natural areas, estates or private areas.
You must behave in such a way that other participants in the experience do not feel inconvenienced. In serious or repeated cases, inappropriate behaviour may lead to you being expelled from further participation in the experience by Hunt & Hike or its representatives. In such cases, you will be responsible for your own repatriation and expenses arising from this. In the event of expulsion, you are not entitled to receive any form of compensation, including a refund of the price of the experience.
Hunt & Hike is not liable to public authorities, including - but not limited to - police intervention/action against you in connection with inappropriate behaviour. In such situations, you are responsible for any expenses you may incur, and you cannot make any claims against Hunt & Hike and will not be entitled to compensation, including a refund of the price of the experience.
5.6 NON-COMPLIANCE
If you do not comply with the requirements for passports, visas, other required documents, health formalities, the indication of the correct name on the travel documents and their review, the rules on punctuality and the rules of order, you cannot assert claims against Hunt & Hike, the organiser or the subcontractor of the package tour for the consequences, defects, inconvenience or loss caused by the failure to comply with your general obligations.
6 AMENDMENTS TO THE CONCLUDED AGREEMENT
6.1 HANDING OVER THE EXPERIENCE
You may transfer the trip to another person, subject to a handling fee and any costs Hunt & Hike may be charged by the subcontractors of the package holiday as a result of the transfer. Notice of transfer must be given in writing to Hunt & Hike no later than 7 days before the start of the experience.
Transfer can only take place if the person to whom the package tour is transferred fulfils the necessary conditions and requirements stated by Hunt & Hike at the conclusion of the agreement for the completion of the experience, including age, passport, visa and health requirements, and hunting licence requirements.
The right to transfer the experience may be fully or partially restricted by Hunt & Hike if the transfer is not possible due to the terms and conditions of the subcontractor. Restrictions on transferability will always be clearly stated in your travel documents.
The transferor of the experience and the person to whom the experience is transferred are jointly and severally liable for payment of any outstanding amounts and costs resulting from the transfer.
6.2 PRICE CHANGES
Hunt & Hike may make changes to the agreed price for the experience after the agreement has been entered into if changes occur in:
the price of game meat if the agreement specifies a specific type of meat,
taxes, duties or fees for the services of the experience that are imposed by a third party not directly involved in the provision of the package holiday,
In case of changes in the price of the experience, Hunt & Hike will notify you of price increases and price reductions. The notification must be made on a durable medium and no later than 20 days before departure. The price can be increased by a maximum of 8% of the price of the experience. If the increase is more than 8% of the price of the experience, you will be entitled to cancel the agreement.
In the event of a price decrease due to changes in the above conditions, you are entitled to a price reduction corresponding to the price decrease caused by the changes. In this connection, Hunt & Hike is entitled to deduct costs associated with the refund to you. When invoicing, Hunt & Hike hedges all sold experiences so that you are not exposed to an additional price in the event of an exchange rate increase. This also means that you cannot claim a price reduction if the current exchange rate falls.
6.3 CHANGES TO THE TRAVELLER'S EXPERIENCE
If you wish to make changes to the experience, you must contact Hunt & Hike as soon as possible. If it is possible for Hunt & Hike to change the experience, you must pay the additional costs incurred by the changes plus a change fee of 2% of the total price of the experience. It is considered a change if, among other things, dates/times are changed, if the number of participants is adjusted, if the location is changed, or if changes to the type of accommodation are requested. Hunt & Hike is not obliged to make changes to the experience.
If you wish to make changes that Hunt & Hike cannot fulfil in the existing agreement, the change will, if you maintain the wish to have the experience changed, be considered a cancellation of the purchased experience, cf. section 7.2, and thus become a new booking.
6.4 HUNT & HIKE EXPERIENCE CHANGES BEFORE THE START OF THE EXPERIENCE
6.4.1 Insignificant changes
Hunt & Hike is entitled, prior to the commencement of the experience, to make minor changes to the experience without your consent. You are obliged to accept such changes if Hunt & Hike clearly and unambiguously informs you of the changes before the start of the experience without undue delay.
6.4.2 Other changes
If Hunt & Hike before the start of the experience either;
make significant changes to the experience
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
you have the following rights:
You can cancel the agreement and get a refund of the amounts paid in relation to the experience,
or you can participate in a replacement experience, if offered by Hunt & Hike.
Hunt & Hike is obliged to contact you without undue delay and inform you of the significant changes, as well as any impact they may have on the price of the experience.
Hunt & Hike will set a reasonable deadline for you to inform you of your decision and will also inform you that the consequence of not meeting this deadline is that you are deemed to have accepted the changes covered by 6.4.2.
In certain situations, you may be entitled to compensation if you have suffered a financial loss as a result of the above material changes, unless the cause is due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
7 TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT
7.1 RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
No right of cancellation applies to online purchases of tickets and experiences bought in a store or from a travel agent on the street, cf. section 18(12) of the Consumer Contracts Act.
7.2 CANCELLATION OF THE EXPERIENCE
7.2.1 Normal cancellation terms
Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, the following applies:
If cancelled at least 65 days prior to the experience, Hunt & Hike will refund the amount already paid, less a fee corresponding to the deposit paid and other fees.
If cancelled later than 65 days before the departure date, Hunt & Hike has the right to charge the full price of the experience as a cancellation fee.
If the entire experience or parts of the experience are subject to stricter cancellation conditions than the above, these will apply and will be stated on the invoice.
7.2.2 Cancellation in the event of acts of war etc.
You may cancel an experience immediately prior to its commencement without penalty if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at or in the immediate vicinity of the destination that significantly affect the delivery of the experience or the carriage of passengers to the destination.
In order for you to cancel without paying a fee, the unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances in question must make it impossible to travel safely to the destination based on an objective assessment; e.g. based on guidance or statements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, health authorities etc. See www.um.dk and www.ssi.dk.
In the event of a free cancellation, you are entitled to a full refund of the price of the trip, but are not entitled to further compensation from Hunt & Hike.
The right to cancel free of charge does not apply if you knew or should have known about the event in question when the agreement was entered into, or if the event was otherwise generally known.
If you cannot cancel free of charge according to the above, the general cancellation terms apply, see section 7.2.1.
7.2.3 Time of refund and calculation of cancellation fee
Repayment of amounts under sections 7.2.1 and 7.2.2 must be made within 14 days of your cancellation of the experience. If you have paid by credit card, the amount will generally be refunded to the same credit card.
7.3 CANCELLATION FROM HUNT & HIKE
7.3.1 Termination due to lack of connection
If the realisation of the experience is subject to a certain minimum number of participants, this will be stated in Hunt & Hike's tender material or elsewhere in the contractual basis. It will also state the minimum number of participants that must be registered, or a minimum occupancy rate, before the experience can be carried out, and how long before the experience is organised this number must be reached.
If the required number of participants is not reached by the specified time, Hunt & Hike may terminate the agreement for the experience without liability. Hunt & Hike will notify you of the cancellation of the agreement by the deadline stated in the agreement, but no later than 48 hours before the start of the experience if its duration is less than 2 days.
You are entitled to a full refund of the price of the experience, but are not entitled to further compensation from Hunt & Hike. In connection with your right to a refund, we may also offer you to participate in another experience, but are not obliged to do so. If we choose to offer you another experience and you wish to participate in such an experience instead of being refunded the price of the experience, you are obliged to pay the price difference if the new experience has a higher value. If the new experience is of a lower value, Hunt & Hike will refund the price difference between the originally purchased experience and the new experience.
7.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances
Hunt & Hike may also terminate the package tour agreement without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. In this case, Hunt & Hike must notify you of the cancellation of the agreement without undue delay and before the start of the experience.
In the above cancellation situations, you will be refunded the amounts paid for the experience within 14 days of the cancellation. You will not be entitled to further compensation.
8 DEFECTS AND COMPLAINTS
If a defect is discovered after the start of the experience or during the experience, you must report the defect to Hunt & Hike's representative or to the subcontractor to which the defect relates immediately upon discovery.
If Hunt & Hike's representative or subcontractor cannot or will not remedy the defect, or if, in your opinion, they do not remedy the defect satisfactorily, you must immediately complain directly to Hunt & Hike. You may not, without prior written authorisation from Hunt & Hike, remedy any defect yourself at Hunt & Hike's expense.
You must ensure that the complaint is noted by Hunt & Hike's employees and/or subcontractors on site - e.g. through a note in a book or other written form. In addition, you must ensure that you receive a receipt for the complaint so that you can document that you have made a timely and correct complaint.
Failure to complain as described above may have consequences for your right to subsequently claim the defect and obtain compensation for it.
9 MAKING A CLAIM AFTER THE END OF THE EXPERIENCE
Claims for compensation and/or a proportionate reduction in the price of the experience - as a result of deficiencies that have been correctly reported and not remedied by Hunt & Hike - must be submitted to Hunt & Hike within a reasonable time after the end of the experience. Otherwise, you lose the right to assert claims against Hunt & Hike.
After returning home, you can complain to Hunt & Hike, Kapselgade 4, 3.26, 1799 Copenhagen V, kontakt@huntandhike.dk
10 RIGHT OF SET-OFF IN THE PAYMENT OF COMPENSATION AND/OR INDEMNIFICATION
When submitting your claim to Hunt & Hike, you must state whether you have also sought compensation from others.
If you have received compensation and/or indemnification from others, Hunt & Hike is entitled to set off compensation and/or indemnification under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Act against the compensation and/or indemnification you have received from others.
11 JURISDICTION AND CHOICE OF LAW
All disputes and disagreements that may arise or arise from the creation and/or fulfilment of a given agreement, and which cannot be resolved between the parties alone, shall, if the parties wish to bring the case, be brought before the Danish national courts for final decision, and will be governed by Danish law, unless otherwise provided by Rfor. 1215/2012 and the Rome Convention of 1980.
GENERAL TRAVEL CONDITIONS FOR PACKAGE HOLIDAYS
These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Hunt & Hike ApS (hereinafter Hunt & Hike) and you, the purchaser of a package holiday. The agreement is entered into and performed in accordance with the Package Travel Act (Act no. 1666 of 26 December 2017 on package travel and composite travel arrangements).
12 CONCLUSION OF THE AGREEMENT
12.1 CONCLUSION
The agreement is binding when you have accepted in writing the offer of the content and price of the trip and accepted these and/or other stated terms and conditions for the trip. Payment of a deposit or the full price of the trip is also considered acceptance of the offer. It is a prerequisite that the travel services that together constitute a package holiday are purchased at the same time.
12.2 TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Hunt & Hike will send relevant travel documents (such as a travel voucher, order confirmation, invoice and/or itinerary) without undue delay after the conclusion of the agreement.
Travel documents and other correspondence between you and Hunt & Hike, including - but not limited to - changes to the package holiday, will be sent to the postal address or e-mail address that you have used in connection with the conclusion of the agreement.
If you do not receive the travel documents within 5 working days of the agreement, you must contact Hunt & Hike immediately. If you have provided an email address, please check the spam filter first.
You are also obliged to provide the contact details necessary for Hunt & Hike to contact you both before and during the trip. Upon receipt, you are obliged to review the submitted travel documents and any "practical information" (see section 16.3). You must immediately respond to Hunt & Hike if the information is not in accordance with what has been agreed.
13 PRICE AND PAYMENT
13.1 PRICE
The total price of the trip is stated on your invoice, which means that, unless otherwise stated, the invoice includes all mandatory taxes, duties and all additional fees, costs and any supplements related to the services you have purchased from Hunt & Hike. If there are any changes in the specific trip or in the conditions for it as a result of your circumstances, the price may change and additional payment may be charged.
At the destinations, local fees, entrance fees and taxes may be charged that it is not possible to collect at the time of the agreement, as these payments are directly related to local regulations or to the consumption of extra services beyond what is stated in the agreement.
13.2 PAYMENT
If you breach your part of the agreement with regard to payment, Hunt & Hike has the right to cancel the agreement. In such cases, Hunt & Hike is entitled to payment of the amount that you would lose according to the rules in section 18.2 if you chose to cancel the trip on the day of the non-payment.
13.3 DEPOSIT
Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, a deposit of at least 50 % of the total price of the holiday is payable in connection with acceptance of the offer. An increased deposit may apply to some holidays, which will be stated on the invoice. If the agreement is entered into less than 65 days before departure, the full price of the trip is payable upon acceptance of the offer. However, for coach travel, if the agreement is made less than 45 days before departure, the full price of the trip is payable upon acceptance of the offer.
13.4 FINAL PAYMENT
The balance for the trip must be paid no later than 65 days before the departure date, unless otherwise stated on the invoice. However, for coach travel, the balance of the trip must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date Note: According to the Danish Money Laundering Act, Hunt & Hike may not accept cash amounts exceeding DKK 19,999. If the price of the trip exceeds this amount, it is possible to pay DKK 19,999 in cash and the rest by bank transfer or credit card. Gift vouchers purchased in cash are equivalent to a cash payment.
14 CONNECTIVITY JOURNEYS
Hunt & Hike is only liable for a connecting journey if this is marketed/purchased together with the main event as part of the package holiday. A connecting journey means transporting you from/to the place where the package holiday begins and ends, respectively.
15 CANCELLATION AND TRAVEL INSURANCE
Hunt & Hike recommends that you take out cancellation insurance to cover your expenses if you have to cancel the agreement due to acute illness or injury to yourself or a close family member. Cancellation insurance must always be taken out at the time the contract is signed and covers you until the time of departure. Cancellation insurance and/or annual travel insurance is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for the cancellation of the trip. If you fail to take out cancellation insurance - or if the trip is cancelled for reasons not covered by the insurance, Hunt & Hike's cancellation terms and conditions apply, see section 18.2.
If you have a chronic or known condition, you should apply for a pre-assessment from the insurance company to be guaranteed coverage while travelling.
Hunt & Hike does not provide insurance products.
16 GENERAL DUTIES OF THE TRAVELLER
16.1 PASSPORT, VISA AND HEALTH FORMALITIES (INCLUDING VACCINATIONS)
When travelling outside Denmark, you must be in possession of and carry a valid passport and the documents required for the trip, such as visas and proof of required vaccinations, etc.
The travel agency can only inform you of the requirements that apply at the time the contract is concluded. You should be aware that different entry requirements may apply at the time of your departure than those that applied when you purchased the trip. For visas, you should also be aware that the processing time for visa applications varies from country to country and you are advised to always apply for a visa in good time before travelling. It is your own responsibility to ensure that your passport complies with applicable regulations.
Please note that the passport must be in good condition before travelling. The passport must not be damaged by water, tears, torn surfaces from luggage tags, etc. There must also be no missing pages and no writing or corrections in the passport. In some cases, you may be denied check-in by the airline and entry by the authorities at the destination if they deem that the passport is not in good condition, and the entire trip is basically lost.
Hunt & Hike also provides information about any health formalities such as vaccination requirements or similar, as well as other documents and conditions necessary for travelling. For certain countries, special rules apply for entry and exit. Hunt & Hike cannot be held liable if, after the conclusion of the agreement, special disease-related entry requirements are introduced before or during the trip or restrictions are imposed at the destination (e.g. distance requirements, face masks, etc. but not limited to this). In these cases, you are not entitled to compensation, to cancel the purchase or to cancel free of charge. If you do not wish to complete the trip in such situations, the general cancellation terms, see section 18.2, will apply. You can contact Hunt & Hike for further information about these rules. If you bring medication containing euphoriant substances, you are responsible for being able to document the need for this. Please contact your own doctor for documentation.
Find more information at https://um.dk/rejse-og-ophold/foer-rejsen/medicin-og-vaccination
If the participants in your trip are minors unaccompanied by their parents/guardian, you must contact the embassy/consulate of the travelling country. You should also be aware that special rules apply if your children are travelling with only one of their parents. You can find more information about the rules for travelling with children on this website: https://um.dk/rejse-og-ophold/foer-rejsen/rejse-med-mindreaarige
You are also welcome to contact Hunt & Hike for further information about these rules.
16.2 PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Hunt & Hike's travel offerings are generally based on the assumption that you are self-reliant or travelling with a helper if required. This means that you are able to walk normally, get in and out of transport without difficulty, carry your own luggage and manage stairs.
It is therefore important that you provide Hunt & Hike with all necessary and relevant information about your special needs that may affect the suitability of the trip for you prior to booking your trip. This could be, for example, medical conditions, pregnancy, visual impairment or if you have walking difficulties, are in a wheelchair or otherwise have reduced mobility. It is a prerequisite that you inform us of such needs so that the travel consultant can advise you in more detail about your trip and whether all or part of it will be suitable for you, including whether you will get the full benefit of the trip. When travelling in groups with others, please understand that the rest of the group cannot be delayed, and you must therefore accept that you will have to forego certain experiences.
If you are bringing a walker or wheelchair, this must be agreed in advance when booking the trip so that the travel consultant can write it on the travel voucher for hotel and transport information.
16.3 NAMES ON TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
You are responsible for ensuring that the names on your travel documents and bookings are identical to the full name on the travellers' passports. There is space for a limited number of characters on an airline ticket, so there will often be no room for middle names, which may be shortened or omitted entirely. If you become aware of any discrepancies between your travel documents and passport, you must immediately notify Hunt & Hike, who will attempt to correct the error. If the discrepancy is due to your circumstances, the costs associated with this must be borne by you. If changes are not possible, you cannot hold Hunt & Hike responsible for this.
16.4 TIMELY ATTENDANCE
In cases where you cannot arrive on time for the booked travel service, you must contact the supplier in question and inform them of the late arrival. If you do not reach a satisfactory solution with the Supplier, you must contact Hunt & Hike. If you fail to contact the supplier and/or Hunt & Hike, the reservation will be cancelled and you will not be able to use the reservation or receive a refund.
If flight tickets are part of the package holiday, they must be used in the correct order. If you do not use the flight tickets in the correct order, the airline will cancel the remaining flights. Therefore, you cannot only use individual legs of a flight. For example, you cannot only use a return journey.
You must have completed any check-in in accordance with the times and places indicated in the itinerary or other clear instructions for the last check-in on the outward and return journeys. You are responsible to the check-in staff for drawing attention to yourself in the check-in queue if you can foresee that you will not be able to complete check-in by the stated times.
You must keep yourself informed of return travel times by checking well in advance of your return journey whether any changes have been made or announced to the return travel time stated in the travel documents. This can be done through Hunt & Hike's partners at the destination, at the travel agency or on the airlines' websites.
You must keep yourself updated on departure points and times for the included means of transport. This can be done, for example, by checking the monitors immediately upon arrival at an airport and contacting airport staff if in doubt about which terminals or gates the aircraft is departing from. Terminal and gate changes happen frequently and are beyond Hunt & Hike's control. You cannot make any claims against Hunt & Hike in such situations.
16.5 RULES OF ORDER
You must comply with the regulations that apply to all subcontractors of the package holiday, such as hotels, airports, means of transport, etc.
You must behave in such a way that fellow travellers do not feel inconvenienced. In serious or repeated cases, inappropriate behaviour may result in Hunt & Hike or its representatives expelling you from further participation in the trip. In such cases, you are responsible for your own repatriation and any resulting expenses. In the event of expulsion, you are not entitled to receive any form of compensation, including a refund of the price of the package holiday.
Hunt & Hike is not responsible for the exercise of public authority, including - but not limited to - police intervention/action against you as a traveller in connection with inappropriate behaviour. In such situations, you are responsible for any expenses you may incur, and you cannot make any claims against Hunt & Hike and will not be entitled to compensation, including a refund of the price of the package holiday.
16.6 NON-COMPLIANCE
If you do not comply with the requirements for passports, visas, other required documents, health formalities, the indication of the correct name on the travel documents and their review, the rules on punctuality and the rules of order, you cannot assert claims against Hunt & Hike, the organiser or the subcontractor of the package tour for the consequences, defects, inconvenience or loss caused by the failure to comply with your general obligations.
17 CHANGES TO THE CONCLUDED AGREEMENT
17.1 TRANSFER OF THE PACKAGE HOLIDAY
You may transfer the trip to another person, subject to a handling fee and any costs Hunt & Hike may be charged by the subcontractors of the package holiday as a result of the transfer. Notice of transfer must be given in writing to Hunt & Hike no later than 7 days before the commencement of the trip. Notification after this time will result in you losing the right to transfer the package holiday.
Transfer can only take place if the person to whom the package holiday is transferred meets the necessary conditions and requirements stated by Hunt & Hike at the time the agreement is entered into, including age, passport, visa and health requirements, and hunting licence.
Hunt & Hike may restrict the right to transfer the package holiday in whole or in part if the transfer is not possible due to the subcontractor's terms and conditions. Restrictions on transferability will always be clearly stated in your travel documents.
In this connection, your attention is drawn to the fact that the vast majority of airline tickets included in travel packages cannot be changed or refunded once booked ("non-refundable" tickets). If the travel package includes such travel services, the price of the travel services subject to these restrictions will be lost if a trip is changed after booking.
The transferor of the travel package and the person to whom the travel package is transferred are jointly and severally liable for payment of any outstanding amounts and costs resulting from the transfer.
17.2 PRICE CHANGES
Hunt & Hike may make changes to the agreed price for package holidays after the agreement has been entered into if changes occur in:
the cost of transporting passengers due to the cost of fuel or other energy sources,
taxes, duties or fees for the package travel services imposed by a third party not directly involved in the provision of the package travel,
Hunt & Hike will notify you of price increases and price reductions in the event of changes in the price of the journey. The notification must be made in a durable medium and no later than 20 days before departure. The price can be increased by a maximum of 8% of the package price. If the increase is more than 8% of the package price, you will be entitled to cancel the contract.
In the event of a price decrease due to changes in the above conditions, you are entitled to a price reduction corresponding to the price decrease caused by the changes. In this connection, Hunt & Hike is entitled to deduct costs associated with the refund to you. When invoicing, Hunt & Hike hedges all sold trips so that you are not exposed to an additional price in the event of an exchange rate increase. This also means that you cannot claim a price reduction if the current exchange rate falls.
17.3 THE TRAVELLER'S CHANGES TO THE PACKAGE TOUR
If you wish to make changes to your holiday package, you must contact Hunt & Hike as soon as possible. If it is possible for Hunt & Hike to change the holiday package, you must pay the additional costs incurred by the changes plus a change fee. Among other things, it is considered a change if dates/times are changed, if the number of participants is adjusted, if the itinerary is changed, or if changes to the type of accommodation are requested. Hunt & Hike is not obliged to make changes to the package holiday.
If you wish to make changes that Hunt & Hike cannot fulfil in the existing agreement, the change will, if you maintain your wish to change the package tour, be considered a cancellation of the purchased package tour, cf. section 18.2, and thus become a new booking.
17.4 HUNT & HIKE'S CHANGES TO THE PACKAGE HOLIDAY BEFORE THE START OF THE PACKAGE HOLIDAY
17.4.1 Immaterial changes
Hunt & Hike is entitled, prior to the commencement of the package holiday, to make minor changes to the package holiday without your consent. You are obliged to accept such changes if Hunt & Hike clearly and unambiguously informs you of the changes before the start of the package holiday without undue delay.
17.4.2 Other changes
If Hunt & Hike before the start of the package holiday either;
make significant changes to the package holiday
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
or increases the price of the journey by more than 8%
you have the following rights:
You can cancel the agreement and get a refund of the amounts paid in relation to the trip,
or you can join a replacement trip, if offered by Hunt & Hike.
Hunt & Hike is obliged to contact you without undue delay and inform you of the significant changes and any impact they may have on the price of the package holiday.
Hunt & Hike will set a reasonable deadline for you to inform you of your decision and will also inform you that the consequence of not meeting this deadline is that you are deemed to have accepted the changes covered by 17.4.2.
In certain situations, you may be entitled to compensation if you have suffered a financial loss as a result of the above material changes, unless the cause is due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
18 TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT
18.1 RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
No right of cancellation applies to the purchase of package travel, cf. Section 18(2)(1) and Section 7(2)(5) of the Consumer Contracts Act, which excludes passenger transport from the scope of the Consumer Contracts Act.
18.2 CANCELLATION OF THE PACKAGE TOUR
18.2.1 Normal cancellation terms
Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, the following applies:
In the event of cancellation at least 65 days before the departure date, Hunt & Hike will refund the amount already paid less a fee corresponding to the deposit paid as well as any cancellation insurance, (annual) travel insurance and other fees.
If cancelled later than 65 days before the departure date, Hunt & Hike is entitled to charge the full price of the trip as a cancellation fee.
If the entire package or parts of its travel services are subject to stricter cancellation conditions than the above, these will apply and will be stated on the invoice.
18.2.2 Cancellation in the event of acts of war etc.
You may cancel a package tour without paying a fee immediately before the start of the package tour if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at the travel destination or in the immediate vicinity thereof that significantly affect the provision of the package tour or the transport of passengers to the destination.
If you cannot cancel free of charge according to the above, the general cancellation terms apply, see section 18.2.1.
18.2.3 Time of refund and calculation of cancellation fee
Repayment of amounts under sections 18.2.1 and 18.2.2 must be made no later than 14 days after your cancellation of the package tour. If you have paid by credit card, the amount will generally be refunded to the same credit card.
18.3 CANCELLATION FROM HUNT & HIKE
18.3.1 Termination due to lack of connection
If the trip is subject to a minimum number of participants, this will be stated in Hunt & Hike's tender material or elsewhere in the contractual basis. It will also state the minimum number of participants that must be registered, or a minimum occupancy rate, before the trip can be completed, and how long before departure this number must be reached.
If the required number of participants is not reached by the specified time, Hunt & Hike may terminate the package holiday agreement without liability. Hunt & Hike will notify you of the cancellation of the agreement within the period specified in the agreement, but no later than:
20 days before the start of the package holiday if the duration of the trip is more than 6 days,
7 days before the start of the package holiday if the duration of the trip is between 2 and 6 days, or
48 hours before the start of the package holiday if the duration of the trip is less than 2 days.
You are entitled to a full refund of the price of the trip, but are not entitled to further compensation from Hunt & Hike. In connection with your right to a refund, the travel agency may also offer you the opportunity to participate in another package holiday, but is not obliged to do so. If the travel agent chooses to offer you another package holiday and you wish to participate in such a package holiday rather than receive a refund, you are obliged to pay the price difference if the new holiday is of a higher value. If the new trip is of a lower value, Hunt & Hike will refund the price difference between the originally purchased trip and the new trip.
18.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances
Hunt & Hike may also terminate the agreement on a package tour without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. In this case, Hunt & Hike must notify you of the cancellation of the agreement without undue delay and before the start of the package tour.
In the above cancellation situations, you will be refunded the amounts paid for the trip within 14 days of the cancellation. You will not be entitled to further compensation.
19 DEFECTS AND COMPLAINTS
If a defect is discovered after the start of the trip, during the trip or at the destination, you must report the defect to Hunt & Hike's representative or to the subcontractor to which the defect relates immediately upon discovery.
20 MAKING A CLAIM AFTER THE END OF THE TRIP
Claims for compensation and/or a proportionate reduction in the price of the trip - as a result of defects that have been correctly reported and not remedied by Hunt & Hike - must be submitted to Hunt & Hike within a reasonable time after the end of the trip. Otherwise, you lose the right to assert claims against Hunt & Hike.
After returning home, you can complain to Hunt & Hike, Kapselgade 4, 3.26, 1799 Copenhagen V, kontakt@huntandhike.dk
21 RIGHT OF SET-OFF WHEN PAYING DAMAGES AND/OR COMPENSATION
When submitting your complaint to Hunt & Hike, you must state whether you have also claimed damages or compensation from the carrier on the basis of EU regulations on passenger rights and liability in passenger transport and under the international conventions that also regulate this matter.
If you have received compensation and/or indemnification from the Carrier, Hunt & Hike is entitled to set off compensation and/or indemnification under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Act against the compensation and/or indemnification that you have received from the Carrier.
22 JURISDICTION AND CHOICE OF LAW
If agreement on a claim for compensation and/or amount etc. cannot be reached by complaining to Hunt & Hike or the intermediary, you can bring a complaint to the Pakkerejse-Ankenævnet, Haldor Topsøes Allé 1, st. building 91. 2800, Kgs. Lyngby. The website of the Pakkerejse-Ankenævnet is www.pakkerejseankenaevnet.dk A complaint can also be submitted via the European platform for online dispute resolution at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
Hunt & Hike's e-mail address for this purpose is kontakt@huntandhike.dk
Hunt & Hike is - as a result of its membership of the Danish Travel Agents Association - obliged to fulfil orders from the Package Travel Appeals Board, unless the board of the association grants exemption from this requirement because the order is to be brought before a Danish court, cf. the association's statutes.
All disputes and disagreements that may arise or arise from the creation and/or fulfilment of a given agreement and which cannot be resolved between the parties alone or by the Package Travel Complaints Board must, if the parties wish to bring the case, be brought before the Danish national courts for final decision, and will be governed by Danish law, unless otherwise provided by Regulation 1215/2012 and the Rome Convention of 1980.
23 GUARANTEE IN THE TRAVEL GUARANTEE FUND
In the event of Hunt & Hike's bankruptcy, Hunt & Hike has guaranteed reimbursement of the traveller's payments with Rejsegarantifonden, Haldor Topsøes Allé 1, st. building 91. 2800, Kgs. Lyngby. Registration number 3553.
Standard information form:
For package holiday agreements.
The combination of travel services offered to you is a package holiday as defined in Directive (EU) 2015/2302. You are therefore covered by all EU rights for package holidays. Hunt & Hike is fully responsible for the correct delivery of the complete package holiday. Hunt & Hike has also set up statutory protection to refund your payments and, if the package holiday includes transport, to ensure your repatriation in the event of bankruptcy or insolvency.
Key rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302:
Travellers will receive all important information about the travel package before the travel package contract is signed.
There is always at least one trader who is responsible for the correct delivery of all travel services included in the contract.
Travellers are provided with an emergency phone number or contact point where they can get in touch with the tour operator or travel agent.
The traveller may transfer the package to another person, with reasonable notice and possibly at additional cost.
The price of the package holiday can only be increased if special costs increase (e.g. fuel prices) and if this is expressly stated in the agreement, and in no case later than 20 days before the start of the package holiday. If the price increase exceeds 8% of the price of the package tour, the traveller may terminate the contract. If the tour operator reserves the right to a price increase, the traveller is entitled to a price reduction if the relevant costs decrease.
Travellers may cancel the contract without payment of a cancellation fee and receive a full refund of all payments if any of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, change significantly. If the trader responsible for the package cancels the package before the start of the package, travellers are entitled to a refund and compensation as appropriate.
Travellers can cancel the agreement without payment of a cancellation fee before the start of the package tour in the event of extraordinary circumstances, for example if there are serious security issues at the destination that are likely to affect the package tour.
Travellers may also terminate the agreement at any time before the start of the package tour against payment of an appropriate and justified termination fee.
If essential elements of the package tour cannot be provided as agreed after the start of the package tour, the traveller must be offered suitable alternative arrangements at no additional cost. The traveller may terminate the contract without payment of a termination fee if services are not performed in accordance with the contract and this materially affects the provision of the package tour and the tour operator fails to remedy the problem.
Travellers are entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation if the travel services are not provided or delivered
The tour operator must provide assistance if the traveller is in difficulty.
If the organiser or, in some Member States, the retailer goes bankrupt or becomes insolvent, the trip will be refunded. If the tour operator or, where applicable, the intermediary goes bankrupt or becomes insolvent after the start of the package and if the package includes transport, the travellers' repatriation is guaranteed. Hunt & Hike has set up protection against bankruptcy or insolvency with the Travel Guarantee Fund. Travellers can contact this entity or, if applicable, this competent authority (Rejse Garanti Fonden, Røgelskær 11, 3.sal, 2840 Holte, telephone: 45878333, cvr: 86484218) if they are refused services as a result of Hunt & Hike's bankruptcy or insolvency. 1.1 AGREEMENT BASIS: MOOSE & MOUNTAINGOAT
AGREEMENT BASIS FOR HUNTING MOOSE AND MOUNTAIN GOAT
This agreement covers Hunt & Hike - Hunting in Canada for either moose or snow goat (mountaingoat).
This trip lasts 12 days in the Canadian wilderness, hunting for ten days. Hunt & Hike will act as your hunting guides and make sure you have the hunting experience and adventure of a lifetime.
Payment: In connection with your acceptance of the offer, a deposit of at least 50 % of the total price of the trip is payable - unless otherwise stated on the invoice. An increased deposit may apply to some holidays, which will be stated on the invoice. If the agreement is entered into less than 65 days before departure, the full price of the trip is payable upon acceptance of the offer. Deposit and cancellation: The deposit is used to pay for third-party services. The deposit is considered non-refundable to the extent that it has already been used for non-refundable third-party expenses. The Customer may cancel the trip at any time. The cancellation fee is calculated based on the actual expenses already incurred by the travel agency to third parties. If cancellation is made more than 65 days before departure, the actual costs will be deducted and any excess amount will be refunded. If cancellation is made 65 days or less before departure, no refund will be paid to the customer. We recommend that the customer takes out trip cancellation insurance, as deposits and other payments may be lost in case of cancellation.
Getting there: Travelling with us starts at Prince George Airport, British Columbia. It is your responsibility to arrive on time and cover the costs. The airport is served by major airlines such as Air Canada and WestJet. You will be picked up at 10.00 AM at the Carmel Inn (www.carmelinn.ca) in Prince George, BC, the day before your hunt begins.
Make sure you arrive in Prince George the day before you need to be picked up to avoid unforeseen travel delays. Likewise, we recommend setting aside an extra day at the end in case of unforeseen delays from basecamp to Prince George. You'll need to book your own hotel for the days before and after travelling with us. We have good experiences with Carmel Inn.
You must have a valid passport, driver's licence and a Canadian firearms licence. To avoid unnecessary hassle at the border, remember that you must sign your firearms licence in front of a Canadian Customs Officer. No handguns may be brought into Canada during your trip.
Licence and Tags: Licence and tag fees are set annually by the BC government and are subject to change. We assist with the acquisition of all necessary licences and tags. If you have purchased a hunt, we will purchase tags for you and have them ready for you upon your arrival at camp. You must always have your hunting licence and tags appropriate to the species you want to hunt with you throughout your hunt.
Calibre selection: When you arrive at camp, one of the first things you should do after settling in is to test your rifle and confirm that it shoots accurately. For most hunts, calibres of .270 Win or larger will be sufficient. It is possible to rent a rifle for a fee of approximately DKK 100 per day. If you wish to rent a rifle, we need to be notified well in advance of your departure.
Accommodation: Our basecamp is located on a remote lake and consists of rustic cabins with comfortable bunks and wood-burning stoves. There is electricity and hot showers in the basecamp. We have a second basecamp that functions as a backcountry basecamp. This camp is also a log cabin, which has electricity and hot showers. In spike camp, the accommodation is either in small backcountry cabins or wall tents. Here there is no electricity or hot showers. For all accommodation, we recommend bringing both a sleeping bag and sleeping mat. In basecamp and cabins, mattresses will be provided.
Meals: Meals in base camp are home-cooked and consist primarily of game meat with side dishes. Food in spike camp will be simple as it must be able to keep without refrigeration. For backpacking, freeze-dried meals will be served. Please inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements or allergies you may have so we can accommodate them.
Requirements for the hunter: Safety is our top priority. We expect you to be skilled, safe and practise with your firearm. You will not load your gun until we have advised you to do so. Unsafe handling of firearms will not be tolerated. Communication is extremely important to ensure you have a good hunt. Communicate regularly, both before the hunt and with us during the hunt. If there is a problem, it is the hunter's responsibility to let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to solve the problem immediately.
Physical demands on the hunter: Our hunts require varying levels of physical fitness for a successful hunt. We have hunts that anyone of any age or physical ability can enjoy, such as spring black bear hunting and autumn moose hunting from basecamp. While backcountry horseback hunting and mountain goat hunting require a higher level of physical fitness. It is the hunter's responsibility to inform Hunt & Hike of any physical/medical problems and/or allergies prior to the hunt.
Talk to us in advance about your physical condition and we will tailor your hunt to your physical ability.
Wounded game rules: Fortunately, wounded game is a rare occurrence. We do our best to get you as close as possible to your animal and only ethical shots should be taken. When an animal is wounded, every effort is made to find the animal in question. Trophy fees must be paid for wounded game.
Trophy care and transport: All skins will be handled properly in the field, i.e. salted and dried. Unless otherwise stated, trophies will be delivered to professional taxidermist Daryn Eakin at Northern Wildlife Designs (www.northernwildlife.net) at the end of the season (early November). The taxidermist can either professionally mount your trophies or send them to your preferred taxidermist at your expense for permits and shipping. All meat will be left at basecamp and will be donated to local First Nations or BC Guide Outfitters Meat donation programme through the Salvation Army
Tipping: Tips are included in the price.
Programme: The actual moose and mountain goat hunts both last for 10 days and take place from mid-August to early October. As this is a hunt, we cannot predict an exact programme as there are several factors that come into play when planning. These factors include weather conditions, the client's physique, the course of the hunt and the terrain. Changes to the programme can therefore occur quickly. Below is an outline of an indicative programme, including transport between the airport and base camp.

Information and special considerations: Participants' enjoyment of services depends on effective oral communication in Danish, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. Hunt & Hike's experience offerings are generally based on the assumption that you are self-reliant or accompanied by a helper if this is required. This means that you are able to walk normally, get on and off transport without difficulty and carry your own luggage. It is therefore important that you provide Hunt & Hike with all necessary and relevant information about your special needs that may affect the suitability of the experience for you prior to booking your experience. This may include, for example, medical conditions, pregnancy, visual impairment or if you have walking difficulties, are in a wheelchair or otherwise have reduced mobility. 12.1 CONCLUSION
The agreement is binding when you have accepted in writing the offer of the content and price of the trip and accepted these and/or other stated terms and conditions for the trip.

If you have a chronic or known condition, you should apply for a pre-assessment from the insurance company to be guaranteed coverage while travelling.
Hunt & Hike does not provide insurance products.

Hunt & Hike may make changes to the agreed price for package holidays after the agreement has been entered into if changes occur in:
the cost of transporting passengers due to the cost of fuel or other energy sources,
taxes, duties or fees for the package travel services imposed by a third party not directly involved in the provision of the package travel,
These changes are calculated according to the calculation examples below:
Hunt & Hike will notify you of price increases and price reductions in the event of changes in the price of the journey. The notification must be made in a durable medium and no later than 20 days before departure. The price can be increased by a maximum of 8% of the price of the package holiday.
17.4.1 Insignificant changes Hunt & Hike is entitled, prior to the commencement of the package holiday, to make insignificant changes to the package holiday without your consent. You are obliged to accept such changes if Hunt & Hike clearly and unambiguously informs you of the changes before the start of the package holiday without undue delay.
17.4.2 Other changes If Hunt & Hike before the commencement of the package holiday either;
make significant changes to the package holiday
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
or increases the price of the journey by more than 8%
you have the following rights:
18.2.1 Normal cancellation terms Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, the following applies:
In the event of cancellation at least 65 days before the departure date, Hunt & Hike will refund the amount already paid less a fee corresponding to the deposit paid as well as any cancellation insurance, (annual) travel insurance and other fees.
If cancelled later than 65 days before the departure date, Hunt & Hike is entitled to charge the full price of the trip as a cancellation fee.
If the entire package or parts of its travel services are subject to stricter cancellation conditions than the above, these will apply and will be stated on the invoice.
18.2.2 Cancellation in the event of acts of war, etc.You may cancel a package tour without paying a fee immediately before the start of the package tour if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at the travel destination or in its immediate vicinity that significantly affect the delivery of the package tour or the transport of passengers to the destination.
If you cannot cancel free of charge according to the above, the general cancellation terms apply, see section 18.2.1.
18.2.3 Time of repayment and calculation of cancellation fee Repayment of amounts under sections 18.2.1 and 18.2.2 must be made no later than 14 days after your cancellation of the package tour. If you have paid by credit card, the amount will generally be refunded to the same credit card.
18.3 CANCELLATION FROM HUNT & HIKE
18.3.1 Cancellation due to lack of participation If the completion of the trip is subject to a certain minimum number of participants, this will be stated in Hunt & Hike's tender material or elsewhere in the contractual basis.
18.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances Hunt & Hike may also terminate the agreement on a package tour without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

1.2 AGREEMENT BASIS: BLACK BEAR IN CANADA
AGREEMENT BASIS FOR BLACK BEAR HUNTING
This agreement covers Hunt & Hike - Hunting in Canada for black bear.
This trip lasts seven days in the Canadian wilderness, hunting for five days.
Programme: The black bear hunt itself lasts for 5 days and takes place from mid-May to mid-June. Due to the nature of the hunt, we cannot predict an exact programme as there are several factors that affect the planning. These factors include weather conditions, the client's physique, the course of the hunt and the terrain. Changes to the programme can therefore occur quickly. It is a prerequisite that you inform us of such needs so that we can advise you further about your experience and whether all or part of it will be suitable for you, including whether you will get the full benefit of the journey. If you bring a walker or wheelchair, this must be agreed in advance when booking the experience.

The above information has been prepared in accordance with the Act on Package Travel and Composite Travel Arrangements (Act no. 1666 of 26/12/2017) §6, where the traveller must be given essential characteristics of experiences/travel before entering into a purchase agreement. Prepared by Hunt & Hike ApS (CVR 44228343), Rejsgarantifonden reg-number RGF3553.
Hunt & Hike may make changes to the agreed price for package holidays after the agreement has been entered into if changes occur in:
the cost of transporting passengers due to the cost of fuel or other energy sources,
taxes, duties or fees for the package travel services imposed by a third party not directly involved in the provision of the package travel,
These changes are calculated according to the calculation examples below:
Hunt & Hike will notify you of price increases and price reductions in the event of changes in the price of the journey. The notification must be made in a durable medium and no later than 20 days before departure. The price can be increased by a maximum of 8% of the price of the package holiday.
17.4.2 Other changes If Hunt & Hike before the commencement of the package holiday either;
make significant changes to the package holiday
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
or increases the price of the journey by more than 8%
you have the following rights:
18.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances Hunt & Hike may also terminate the agreement on a package tour without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

1.9 CONTRACTUAL BASIS: HUNTING TRIP IN SWEDEN
Payment: A deposit of 50% is required when booking the trip. The balance must be paid no later than 65 days before the start of the trip. Final payment will be collected via invoice. Deposits are non-refundable. Trophy fees will be collected via invoice after the trip has ended.
Before departure: The hunter is responsible for transport to the camp, which is located at: 1 Forshem Berget, 542 95, Mariestad, Sweden. The hunter must bring a passport, Swedish hunting licence and declare weapons and ammunition to the Swedish customs authorities. This must be done before the start of the hunt via the following website: https://privattjanster-vapenanmalan.tullverket.se/anmalan/da/vape.
Choice of calibre: For most hunts, calibres such as 308 Win and 30-06 will be sufficient. It is possible to rent a rifle for a fee of 100 DKK per day. If you wish to rent a rifle, we must be notified well in advance of departure.
Accommodation: The camp consists of cotton tents and is established on the forest floor. We therefore recommend that you bring good sleeping bags and sleeping mats. Toilet facilities are primitive and without running water. There is a single electrical outlet on site that can be used to charge mobile phones. Participants should be prepared for the camp to be simple and blend in with the natural surroundings. During the cold winter months we have the possibility to light an oven in the tent.
Territory / Hunting: Our hunting trip in Sweden takes place in large forest areas broken by open meadows that attract large herds of fallow deer, an older population of roe deer, wild boar and foxes. The specific area is further specified on the booking page. We stay at the camp, which is located in a hunting area of approximately 300 hectares, so participants should expect to use their own car in the terrain. The hunting method will primarily involve spot and stalk and/or hunting from a tower. Initially, there will be three hunters, two of whom will receive 1:1 guidance while the remaining hunter sits in a tower. This may change depending on individual preferences and the course of the hunt.
Meals: Meals at camp are simple and home-cooked, primarily consisting of game meat with side dishes. Please inform us in advance of any special dietary needs or allergies so we can accommodate them.
Requirements for the hunter: Safety is our top priority. We expect you to be skilful, safe and practice with your firearm. You should not load your rifle until we have advised you to do so. Irresponsible handling of firearms will not be tolerated. Communication is extremely important to ensure you have a successful hunt. Communicate regularly, both before the hunt and during the hunt. If problems arise, it is the hunter's responsibility to inform us as soon as possible and we will do our best to solve the problem immediately.
Wounded game rules: Fortunately, wounded game is rare. We do our best to bring you as close as possible to your prey and only ethical shots should be fired. When an animal is wounded, we make every effort to find the animal. Trophy fees are applied to wounded game.
Trophy care and transport: We pride ourselves on handling all meat properly in the field, and we will prepare your trophy together with you so it is ready for mounting. Subsequent taxidermy work is at the hunter's own expense. Hunt & Hike has control over any meat that the hunter does not want to take home.

Please see our general terms and conditions for further terms, including payment and cancellation.
Information and special considerations: Participants' enjoyment of the services depends on effective oral communication in Danish, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. Hunt & Hike's adventure programmes are generally based on participants being self-reliant or accompanied by a helper if necessary. This means that participants must be able to walk normally, get on and off transport easily, carry their own luggage and manage stairs.
It is therefore important that before you book your experience, you provide Hunt & Hike with all necessary and relevant information about your special needs that may affect the suitability of the experience for you. This may include health conditions, pregnancy, impaired vision or limited mobility, whether you use a wheelchair or have other mobility limitations. It is a prerequisite that you disclose such needs so that we can advise you further about your experience and determine if you are getting the full benefit of the trip. During group excursions with other participants, please be aware that the group cannot be delayed and you must therefore agree to forgo certain experiences.
If you are bringing a walker or wheelchair, this must be agreed in advance when booking the experience.

This information has been prepared in accordance with the Act on Package Travel and Composite Travel Arrangements (Act no. 1666 of 26/12/2017) §6, where the traveller must have essential information about experiences/travel before entering into a purchase agreement. Prepared by Hunt & Hike ApS (CVR 44228343), registered with Rejsegarantifonden with registration number RGF3553.
Hunt & Hike may make changes to the agreed price for package holidays after the agreement has been entered into if changes occur in:
the cost of transporting passengers due to the cost of fuel or other energy sources,
taxes, duties or fees for the package travel services imposed by a third party not directly involved in the provision of the package travel,
These changes are calculated according to the calculation examples below:
Hunt & Hike will notify you of price increases and price reductions in the event of changes in the price of the journey. The notification must be made in a durable medium and no later than 20 days before departure. The price can be increased by a maximum of 8% of the price of the package holiday.
17.4.2 Other changes If Hunt & Hike before the commencement of the package holiday either;
make significant changes to the package holiday
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
or increases the price of the journey by more than 8%
you have the following rights:
18.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances Hunt & Hike may also terminate the agreement on a package tour without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

The exact address, meeting point and any driving directions will be sent to the email address provided in the booking approximately two weeks before the start of the FamilyCamp.
Accommodation: Accommodation is in your own tents or in tents rented from Hunt & Hike. Participants should expect that there will be no electricity or charging facilities on site. Toilet facilities are primitive and there will be no running water. Please note that the camp is shared with other families with children and this requires that we all get along during the stay.
Meals: All main meals are included in the price. However, we encourage you to bring some snacks for the children between activities. All meals will be cooked over a campfire and will be child-friendly, as well as offering the opportunity to taste game meat that suits both the season and the area. Please inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements or allergies you may have so we can accommodate them.
Requirements for participants: Our Family Camp is for anyone who wants to spend a few days in nature with their family. Here you will learn tips and tricks about nature and get an insight into what it means to go hunting. Participants will sleep two nights in sleeping bags, which depends on the season and weather and therefore requires good quality equipment. If you are unsure about what the Family Camp entails, don't hesitate to call or send an email.
Programme: The Family Camp usually lasts 40 hours and includes two nights accommodation and meals as stated in the indicative programme:
Day 1
16:00 Arrival and welcome 16:30 Joint camp set-up 17:30 Campfire dinner 19:00 Information about activities Day 2 20:00 Good night
Day 3

13:00 Independent activities 15:00 Shared activity 16:30 Cooking in the camp 17:30 Dinner 18:30 Activity 19:30 Cosy time around the fire and bedtime 20:30 Good night
Day 4
07:30 Campfire breakfast 08:30 Joint activity 10:00 Packing and goodbye
The programme is indicative and varies depending on the participants, time of year and weather conditions. All excursions, activities and services are included in the price. We stay in the area around the camp, so the youngest members of the family can participate on foot. If there are older children among the participants, there will be separate activities for them.
FamilyCamp is delivered to participants as part of a group. The group size is usually around 15 people, but this can be customised to the group of participants. We recommend that participants are at least 4 years old at the time of the Family Camp. The camp is set up on the forest floor, so we recommend bringing a tarpaulin to put under tents to avoid stones or sticks damaging the tent fabric. See the indicative packing list below.

Number of participants and payment: A minimum participation of ten people is required to organise the Family Camp. If this is not met 14 days before the start of the FamilyCamp, Hunt & Hike ApS reserves the right to cancel the event. In that case, participants can choose to attend another FamilyCamp, choose another experience or get a refund of the payment for the experience.
The total price per participant is DKK 1,295 (regardless of age) including taxes, duties and all additional fees. The price includes main meals, some snacks and water, which can be filled in water bottles, as well as tea/coffee. Participants should also expect to pay for transport to and from the site for Family
Camp. If participants wish to have other drinks or snacks between main meals, these must be brought at their own expense. We encourage you to limit the amount of alcoholic beverages.
See the general terms and conditions for further terms, including payment and cancellation policy.
Information and special considerations: The participants' experience depends on effective oral communication in Danish, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. Hunt & Hike's experiences are generally based on participants being self-reliant or bringing a helper if necessary. This means that participants must be able to walk normally, get on and off transport without difficulty, carry their own luggage and manage stairs.
Therefore, before booking your experience, it is important that you provide Hunt & Hike with all necessary and relevant information about your special needs that may affect the suitability of the experience for you. This may include, for example, health conditions, pregnancy, impaired vision or reduced mobility as a result of poor walking, wheelchair or other mobility impairment. It is a prerequisite that you disclose such needs so that we can provide you with appropriate guidance about your experience and inform you whether all or part of the experience will be suitable for you and whether you will fully benefit from the experience. For group excursions with others, please understand that the rest of the group cannot be delayed and you must therefore agree to forgo certain experiences.
If you are bringing a walker or wheelchair, this must be agreed in advance when booking the experience.

The above information has been prepared in accordance with the Act on Package Travel and Composite Travel Arrangements (Act no. 1666 of 26/12/2017) §6, where the traveller must have essential information about experiences/travel before entering into a purchase agreement. Prepared by Hunt & Hike ApS (CVR 44228343), Rejsegarantifonden reg-number RGF3553.
Hunt & Hike may make changes to the agreed price for package holidays after the agreement has been entered into if changes occur in:
the cost of transporting passengers due to the cost of fuel or other energy sources,
taxes, duties or fees for the package travel services imposed by a third party not directly involved in the provision of the package travel,
These changes are calculated according to the calculation examples below:
Hunt & Hike will notify you of price increases and price reductions in the event of changes in the price of the journey. The notification must be made in a durable medium and no later than 20 days before departure. The price can be increased by a maximum of 8% of the price of the package holiday.
17.4.2 Other changes If Hunt & Hike before the commencement of the package holiday either;
make significant changes to the package holiday
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
or increases the price of the journey by more than 8%
you have the following rights:
18.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances Hunt & Hike may also terminate the agreement on a package tour without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
For package travel contracts.
The above information has been prepared in accordance with the Act on Package Travel and Composite Travel Arrangements (Act no. 1666 of 26/12/2017) §6, where the traveller must be informed of essential characteristics of experiences/travel before a purchase agreement is entered into.
Prepared by Hunt & Hike ApS (CVR 44228343), Rejsgarantifonden reg-number RGF3553.
6.4.1 Non-material changes Hunt & Hike is entitled to make non-material changes to the experience without your consent prior to the commencement of the experience without liability. You are obliged to accept such changes if Hunt & Hike clearly and unambiguously informs you of the changes before the start of the experience without undue delay.
6.4.2 Other changes If Hunt & Hike before the start of the experience either;
make significant changes to the experience
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
you have the following rights:
7.2.1 Normal cancellation terms Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, the following applies:
If cancelled at least 65 days prior to the experience, Hunt & Hike will refund the amount already paid, less a fee corresponding to the deposit paid and other fees.
If cancelled later than 65 days before the departure date, Hunt & Hike has the right to charge the full price of the experience as a cancellation fee.
If the entire experience or parts of the experience are subject to stricter cancellation conditions than the above, these will apply and will be stated on the invoice.
7.2.2 Cancellation in the event of acts of war etc.You may cancel an experience immediately prior to its commencement without paying a fee if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at the destination or in its immediate vicinity that significantly affect the delivery of the experience or the transport of passengers to the destination.
7.2.3 Time of repayment and calculation of cancellation fee Repayment of amounts under sections 7.2.1 and 7.2.2 must be made within 14 days of your cancellation of the experience. If you have paid by credit card, the amount will generally be refunded to the same credit card.
7.3 CANCELLATION FROM HUNT & HIKE
7.3.1 Cancellation due to lack of participation If the completion of the experience is conditional on a certain minimum participation, this will be stated in Hunt & Hike's tender material or elsewhere in the contractual basis.
7.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances Hunt & Hike may also terminate the package tour agreement without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

Meals: We serve a light meal, which is included in the price. Please inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements or allergies you may have so we can accommodate them.
Requirements for the participant: The course is aimed at dog owners. If you want to bring your dog, we appeal to your dog's ability to work with other dogs. If you don't have your own dog, you can practice on our dogs. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call or email us for more information about the course and what it requires of you and your four-legged friend.

The course is delivered to participants as part of a group. The group size is 8 people and up to 8 dogs. We recommend not bringing participants with dogs that show aggressive behaviour.
We recommend bringing a blanket as exercises and training will take place on grass or forest floor. It is also a good idea to bring training treats and a water bowl to minimise the risk of infection among the participating dogs. It is not allowed to bring a sick dog, and we ask that the dogs are vaccinated according to the vet's recommendations.

If this is not met 14 days prior to the course, Hunt & Hike ApS reserves the right to cancel the course. In this case, participants can choose to attend another course date, choose another experience or request a refund.
The total price per participant is DKK 995 including taxes, duties and all additional fees. The price includes meal, first aid kit, goodie bags and water, which can be filled in water bottles, and tea/coffee.
Participants are also expected to cover transport costs to and from the location of the first aid course. If participants require other beverages or snacks between main meals, these must be brought at their own expense. We encourage you to limit the amount of alcoholic beverages.
See our general terms and conditions for other terms, including payment and cancellation policy.
Information and special considerations: Participants' benefit from the services depends on effective oral communication in Danish, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
Hunt & Hike's adventure programmes are generally based on the assumption that participants are self-reliant or have a helper if necessary. This means that participants are usually able to walk, get on and off transport with ease, carry their own luggage and manage stairs.
It is therefore important that before booking your experience you provide Hunt & Hike with all necessary and relevant information about your special needs that may affect the suitability of the experience for you. This may include medical conditions, pregnancy, visual impairment or reduced mobility due to poor walking, wheelchair or other mobility impairment. It is a prerequisite that you inform us of such needs so that we can provide you with appropriate guidance about your experience and inform you whether all or part of the experience will be suitable for you and whether you will fully benefit from the experience.
If you are bringing a walker or wheelchair, this must be agreed in advance when booking the experience.

6.4.1 Non-material changes Hunt & Hike is entitled to make non-material changes to the experience without your consent prior to the commencement of the experience without liability. You are obliged to accept such changes if Hunt & Hike clearly and unambiguously informs you of the changes before the start of the experience without undue delay.
6.4.2 Other changes If Hunt & Hike before the start of the experience either;
make significant changes to the experience
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
you have the following rights:
7.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances Hunt & Hike may also terminate the package tour agreement without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

6.4.1 Non-material changes Hunt & Hike is entitled to make non-material changes to the experience without your consent prior to the commencement of the experience without liability. You are obliged to accept such changes if Hunt & Hike clearly and unambiguously informs you of the changes before the start of the experience without undue delay.
6.4.2 Other changes If Hunt & Hike before the start of the experience either;
make significant changes to the experience
or cannot provide certain services that you have requested and that Hunt & Hike has agreed to provide,
you have the following rights:
7.3.2 Termination due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances Hunt & Hike may also terminate the package tour agreement without liability if Hunt & Hike is prevented from fulfilling the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
